Responsibilities of Distribution Merchandise Associate:

  • Trailblazers in customer service set the bar high for interactions with both internal team members and external clientele through proven practices
  • Sustains and reflects a supportive store climate by valuing honesty, trustworthiness, and politeness
  • Adheres to established procedures when processing customer transactions and providing change back to customers
  • Advocates for the promotion of credit and loyalty programs when interacting with clients
  • Sustains and supports the merchandising philosophy while adhering to established procedures and standards
  • Adheres to company protocols and standards while preparing and organizing merchandise for placement on the sales floor
  • Commences and takes part in store restoration as needed during the day
  • Ensures the adherence to organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards specific to the sales floor and actively participates in keeping the entire store clean
  • Offers and embraces continual recognition and helpful feedback
  • Upholds all labor regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines
  • Collaborates and contributes to store shrink reduction targets and initiatives
  • Takes part in activities that raise awareness about safety and ensure a hazard-free setting
  • Completes tasks beyond the regular scope of work
